UL Student Life Launches “Building On Success”
UL Student Life the student representative body for University of Limerick Students have launched “Building on Success” their new four-year strategic plan. This Strategic Plan 2021 – 2024 “Building on Success “is the second phase of UL Student Life’s long-term vision. In 2016, the organisation issued the first plan “Taking Giant Steps”: 2016 – 2020, which set out a range of ambitious goals and targets that we have worked towards over the past four years. Since 2016, there has been a great deal of change in UL and in our student community.
Building On Success has been developed to build on the momentum they have gained in developing the organisation and the services they provide to UL’s Students. It sets out a vision for how UL
Student Life will help students to overcome the challenges they face, how it will provide students with the services they need and how their representative body will continue to grow and strengthen over the coming years. Once again, UL Student Life is setting ambitious targets for putting the student at the centre of college life.
The strategy is divided into four priority areas,
- ‘Pillars’, which set out the broad objectives for what UL Student Life will achieve over the next four years.
- Each pillar contains a series of goals, which set out the projects, initiatives, and specific ambitions, which make up that pillar.
- Goals are time-bound and accompanied by success indicators.
Kersten Mey UL’s President said: I am delighted to preface Building on Success, the second Strategic Plan of UL Student Life for the period2021-2024.
