A bit about your chosen charities:
GOSHH
GOSHH’s vision is to create an environment where the mental, emotional, physical and social well-being of everyone is promoted and sexual rights are respected, protected and fulfilled. They provide a safe, confidential, welcoming environment for everyone they work with. Their office is based in Limerick City and they work throughout the counties of Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary. GOSHH focuses on the promotion of equality and wellbeing of all with a positive and respectful approach to sexual orientation and gender diversity.
Limerick Suicide Watch
Limerick Suicide Watch’s main focus is to keep eyes on the river and identify and provide support to those in distress and who may be contemplating suicide. As part of their Suicide Awareness Programme and Community Outreach Programme, Limerick Suicide Watch visit schools, colleges, places of work and local communities to provide support, promote positive mental health and encourage conversation around mental health and suicide. Their Patrol teams are on duty Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday nights as well as Christmas night, New Year’s Eve, and the Junior and Leaving Cert results nights.
