Become a Student Officer!

Each year, UL students elect four student officers i.e. Student President, Student Welfare Officer, Student Academic Officer, and Student Communities Officer. Becoming a student officer is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to influence real change at university level. It is a 12-month paid position with many great benefits:

Strict governance is very important to us at UL Student Life. It's also incredibly important that students understand why we do the things we do. That is why all rules, policies and bye-laws that we adhere to are ready-available to students

Key Dates to be Announced!

Elections take places in February/March every year with a nomination window, candidate campaigns, hustings, and elections all taking place in quick succession. Official dates for 2023/2024 are yet to be announced.
