The Student Centre is the heart of UL Student Life. This is where you will find your Student Officers, UL Student Life Staff, Clubs & Societies along with access to a huge amount of facilities & services.

Student Leap Cards
The NEW 22/23 Student Leap Card is now available for students. Students need to visit the TFI Leap Card website and register for their new card by selecting ‘Student (age 24+)’ from the dropdown menu.
UL Student Life Information and Services desk are a Leap Card agent and can print the Student 24+ Leap Card ONLY. All other Leap cards are posted directly to your home address from TFI Leap Card. Please complete your application by clicking the above link. Once your application is complete and paid in full, please visit the UL Student Life Information and Services Desk with your application code, student ID card and we will print this card for you.
Lab Coats and Goggles
Lab coats and safety goggles are available for purchase from the UL Student Life Information & Services Desk. You can also purchase both items from the UL Wolves Online Store.
Purchased items and can be posted to your address or you can select ‘click and collect’ free of charge. Click and collect orders are ready for collection 24 hours after order has been placed and can be picked up at the Information & Services desk.
Information & Services Desk
The Information & Services desk is located at the entrance of the Student Centre. If you have any questions or queries relating to any aspect of your college experience, feel free to drop into our helpful team and we will gladly offer assistance or point you in the right direction. We offer a number of items for sale at the desk including lab coats, goggles, UL Wolves clothing, and Hynan Travel tour tickets. We also print Student 24+ Leap cards. As well as this we can provide you with information about any of the departments in UL Student Life. Please feel free to drop in and we’ll help in any way we can.
Club Membership Sticker
The bars on campus (Stables Club, the Scholars, Sports Bar, and the Pavilion) are members’ clubs and require each student to hold a valid membership. It is a €5 one-off payment that covers your full 4 years in UL. Once you have applied and paid, you will be deemed elected and can collect your membership sticker from the UL Student Life Information & Services desk. Please bring valid age ID with you as you need to be 18+ to hold club membership.
Hynan Travel Tours
Hynan Travel operate tours throughout the semester to top tourist destinations around Ireland. These tickets are available for purchase from UL Student Life Information & Service Desk. Frequent destinations include the Cliffs of Moher, Guinness Storehouse, Aran Island and the Ring of Kerry. Keep an eye on UL Student Life’s social media pages for upcoming tours and destinations. Tickets start from €25.00.

Common Room and Games Room
Both the common room and the games room are great places to chill out, listen to music, chat with friends and enjoy your lunch.
In our games room you will find pool tables, table tennis, a jukebox, free mobile phone charging station and vending machines. The common room also has a reheat station (microwaves) so you can re-heat your food for free. We also have two water refill stations located in the UL Student Life Building. There is one downstairs to the right of the information and services’ desk and one upstairs near the entrance to the games room.
