Activities include Industry Insight events, Guest Speakers, Games Nights, First Year Events, Collaborations with other societies and regular Society Meetings. Members can also access the Bloomberg Market Concepts course through the society, a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to financial markets. You will also gain access to a host of other valuable resources.
When you join the society, you also gain access to the University of Limerick Student Managed Fund. Here you will be able to gain practical practice in the world of investing. They are currently recruiting team members of all experience levels for the Goodbody National Student Managed Fund Competition. This will be a great way to work with a team and gain valuable knowledge and skills to work in the financial world.
You don't need to know anything about economics or investment to join. Everybody is welcome, and this society is all about helping and learning from each other, sharing our knowledge, and making friends. No one gets left behind.
