Student Information and Support (SISC)
Although the college campus is partially currently closed due to Covid 19, you can still get help from SISC at UL Student Life. SISC continues to work to offer support, information and referrals for students.
Our Student Information and Support Coordinators provide free, confidential, impartial, and non-judgemental service to all UL student.
We will try help you to resolve you problem, or connect you with the right person to talk to. The SISC Team can assist you with queries relating to your academic affairs and welfare. Students access the service for advice on a range of topics, including finding accommodation, accessing mental health support services, managing financial issues, resolving exam, lecture, or assessment issues, and complaints.
This is the UL Student Life support service, and therefore, it is independent of the University
Elected Student Officers are in regular contact with Professor Kerstin Mey and the senior management of the University on the ongoing transition to blended learning in UL and they will continue to provide updates on our social media. Facebook , Instagram , Twitter
The team are all working remotely and available to help with any query you may have, and we’ve updated our information sections with new details on financial topics, accommodation, wellbeing and welfare matters and education topics.
We continue to liaise with academic staff in all the Departments, Academic Registry, Student Affairs, Accommodation, Chaplaincy, UL Counselling, Health Centre and all the relevant student service so if you have a problem or a question we will try our best to help you out.
