I’m Chelsea and I’m your Vice President for Communities.
Firstly I would like to welcome our new incoming students I’d also like to say congratulations on joining the University of Limerick. I am beyond excited for you all to start your new journey, I know how nervous this transition can be however, I promise you are in good hands and you have nothing to worry about. Everyone is in the same boat, everyone wants to make new memories and friends. So just be yourself, be kind, and friendly. You will make friends here that you will have for life.
As your Communities Officer my advice would be to reach out to people in your class. if you don’t understand something ask your lecturer or tutor, if you don’t feel comfortable asking them in front of everyone you can email and ask. Join a club or society that you are interested in, this is something I always regretted not doing, you can make some really great connections here with people that share similar interests as yourself.
Welcome back to the existing UL Students, I would like to say a massive thanks for this opportunity I am so grateful to be elected as the first Communities Officer. I want to make sure that students feel comfortable to approach me with any of their questions or issues. That’s why I am here so please feel free to come and talk to me. A lot of what the student officers and I do is behind the scenes work, however at the end of the day we are advocating for our students always. We want to make sure you get the most out of your college experience.Back to Fresher Zone Book appointment with me
